| Parking | The Blake Street property has ample off street parking located at the rear of the property. If your vehicle’s plate number changes, or you purchase a new vehicle while living at Blake St, please contact GFDG with the new plate # and or vehicle description. Starting in the winter of 2012 the City of Lewiston will no longer exercise a City-wide overnight winter parking ban. On September 4th 2012 the City Council adopted a City-wide emergency parking ban system to be utilized as needed on a storm-by-storm basis. Vehicle owners parking on any City street when a ban is declared will receive a $30 fine plus pay for towing at their expense.
GFDG encourages all Lewiston residents to familiarize themselves to the new parking rules as well as sign up for Parking Ban notifications at www.lewistonmaine.gov. |
| School District | 26 Blake Street is located in the Montello School district.
Renovated recently, Montello Elementary School is located at 407 East Avenue. |
| Snow Procedures | Great Falls Development Group contracts an outside company to provide snow plowing and shoveling services. Blake Street will have its respective parking area plowed after any significant snowfall. If at all possible, please coordinate temporary moving of your vehicles in the event the plow comes to your building. This will provide the person plowing the ability to do a quick and efficient job and make the driveways that much better to park in afterward.
At all properties, shoveling, sanding and or salting of walkways will also be done after significant snowfalls. If you find the walkways too slippery, GFDG provides salt and sand at each building. Please feel free to sand and salt, or call GFDG to report the situation. |
